AzoMaxActive™ products are clinically proven to produce a cleaner healthcare environment with fewer bacteria which in turn reduces the risk of patients picking up a HCAI.
Microbiologists at one of the UK’s leading teaching hospitals recently announced the results of a major eleven month clinical trial using the AzoMaxActive™ range.
The study compared the current “gold standard” chlorine based disinfectants such as hypochlorite (bleach) against the effectiveness of the AzoMaxActive™ product range manufactured by Synergy Health and containing Byotrol™ technology.
The study results demonstrate that AzoMaxActive™ products deliver a significant and consistent performance advantage over hypochlorite, which represents the current “gold standard” disinfectant used within the clinical setting. AzoMaxActive™ combined disinfectant and detergent reduced environmental MRSA levels by 33% compared to wards cleaned with hypochlorite.
Central to this success is its residual effectiveness which means it keeps killing micro-organisms for days after it has been applied to a surface. Conventional technologies, including hypochlorite, are only effective for one or two minutes after they have been applied to a surface.
